Erickson Lutheran Church
The Erickson Lutheran Church (ELC) is an affiliate of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and is a member of the Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario Synod (MNO Synod). The ELC “… practices an “open table” in that all believers of all denominations are welcome. We strive to be an inclusive, warm and friendly family of God, in worship, in our group activities, and in outreach and support of the Community.”
Indigenous land Acknowledgement:
We recognize that we are located on the original lands of the Indigenous Peoples specifically Treaty 2 and 4. We respect the Treaties and acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and present.
We acknowledge Manitoba is located on the Homeland of the Red River Métis.
We acknowledge northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.
We respect the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making and remain committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration.
